I am an artist working in Topsham, Devon and have been making mosaics for over twenty years. I create work using traditional materials and techniques in a contemporary style for exhibitions and commissions. I like to use figurative shapes and images but often include an abstract pattern within these so that I can play with the colours and textures of the glass.I have exhibited widely and written two books on mosaic and since my move to Devon my work has become influenced by the sea and the Exe Estuary where I live.
