Dawn Handy has created a beautiful mosaic, Rising Phoenix, which will be in the TWAS exhibition, as part of the TWAS project at the Yeovil Art Space. Handcut vitreous tiles, mirror glass and crockery with some millefiori and round elements. The theme of the exhibition is resilience and Dawn feels that a phoenix embodies the stoicism and tenacity that we all need at present. It represents rebirth and hope for a better future.
